My Fall Uniform (and a Festive Halloween Cocktail)
Happy (almost) Halloween! Chris and I got back from Vegas late Sunday night, and we both took Monday off to regroup and relax for a hot minute before getting back to work today. It was the most beautiful wedding weekend in the desert, but it always feels so good to be home—to sleep in my own bed, watch Bravo on my own couch and have access to my own fridge and whole range of cosmetics and skin care products (right?!). The weather definitely shifted while we were away (brrr!), and it’s looking like we won’t have any more 60º days this year. Part of me is a little envious that our Vegas friends don’t have to rake leaves or shovel snow, but I think I would miss the seasons. Plus, I’m a total sweatshirt girl and kind of live for chilly days just like the ones we’re getting now. 🍂 This time of year, matching sets are basically what I wear whenever I’m not at work. They’re the perfect thing to Netflix and chill in after a long day and my go-to weekend look, too. They’re straight up more comfortable than anything else (I literally NEVER wear jeans on the weekends), and the set situation makes me feel a little more pulled together than if I were wearing mismatched pieces. No major plans this week, but I’m excited to slip into one of these sets on Thursday and sip an apple cider mezcal margarita while handing out candy to the trick-or-treaters! Have a scary-good week! 🎃 👻
