The Only 4 Boots You Need This Season
Woof. I feel old, you guys. Our kickball team played an end-of-season tournament on Saturday and two days later, I am still feeling it. Even my abs are sore. We won our first three match-ups before losing our fourth, but after a full day (and playing better than expected!), we were ready to call it quits by then.
After a quick nap and shower, Chris and I loaded up the cooler and headed to our teammate’s house for a bonfire. The older I get, the more I prefer nights like that—in sweatshirts and no makeup, sitting around the fire with friends—to dressing up and going out to a crowded bar. I was so chilled from being outside all day that I had to pull out my UGGs for the first time this season! It flurried a bit during our early games, and I was reminded that I can’t pull off sandals and open-toe shoes forever. Still, I won’t be going crazy and buying tons of different boots. When it’s cold, I’m all about ease and practicality—and find I always end up wearing the same few styles. Here are the only four pairs of boots I need to get through winter.
UGG Classic Mini Shearling Boots (I love the easy-on, easy-off slip-on style) | Sorel Waterproof Snow Boots (must-have for any extended time outside) | Over The Knee Leather Boots (for when I don’t feel like wearing a heel; love these with leggings) | Sock Block Heel Booties (super chic with a skirt or cropped jeans)
