LTK Anniversary Party
Happy Monday ☀️
It’s back to a regular work week after a fun trip to Dallas last week for my company’s 11th anniversary party! I flew into DFW on Monday afternoon and headed straight to E Bar for Tex Mex with my creative team. The golf slash tennis-themed par-tee was the next day. I headed to the office around 9AM, where they had an omelet bar and mimosas ready and waiting, and had the chance to hang out with the broader Product Design team. Around noon, groups started shuttling to a nearby country club for the party. The decorations and branding were over the top, in the best way. Everyone went home with sooo much branded swag—from sweatshirts and totes to hats and Yeti mugs. And while it was close to 100 degrees with not a lot of shade, sipping Ranch Waters, playing put-put, and catching up with coworkers IRL wasn’t a bad way to spend the afternoon. I flew back home the next morning, but was sad to miss a Creator panel at the office featuring Courtney Kerr and The Defined Dish! Oh well, I’ll catch the recording. :) It was good to get away for a few days, but also so good to be back in green Minneapolis! Watch the Reels on my Instagram here for a closer look at all the fun! A week later, I’m feeling lucky to work for a company where I like my day-to-day tasks, I like the people/my team, the culture is a good fit (hello, theme parties), and I’m passionate about the overall mission. I’ve worked places that checked one or two of these boxes, but I’m not sure I’ve been somewhere that checked them all. Not taking it for granted! ✔️✔️✔️✔️
