Weekend Flare
Happy Monday!
This weekend, Chris and I (drumroll please) … FINISHED THE UPSTAIRS PROJECT. I’m hesitant to say it because we still need to get the space inspected, but our part is DONE. Chris pulled the first permit in August, so it’s been a solid 8 months of working weekends. There were times when it felt like we would literally never be done, so I’m on cloud nine. Now it’s time to order rugs, move in, hit up The Container Store and get organized!!! Stay tuned for official before and after photos, and check out the project reel on my Instagram. Besides that glorious news, I’m feeling extra peppy because I’ve started a new morning routine where I wake up every day at 7 AM. I’ve always had a hard time waking up in the morning and sometimes would sleep past 10 AM on the weekends. But I didn’t love how it made me feel—and it only made Mondays harder. I much prefer getting a jump on the day, and it’s amazing how much more time you have when you don’t sleep half the morning away, lol. Here’s to sticking to it! 💪 Chris is on a work trip for the first half of the week so I’m flying solo for a few nights, and while it’s a little lonely and creepy-quiet, I’m excited to make a few dinners Chris doesn’t like (but I love) and catch up on all my shows!
