Happy Friday! I’m looking forward to catching up on my to-do list at home this weekend—it’s growing long with little things like washing the sheets, rescheduling a dentist appointment, making a hair appointment, restocking my makeup drawer, catching up on workouts, starting to plan a trip for the fall, and rolling over my 401k (something that always feels daunting) … I’m also starting to think about planning a dinner party soon (I miss hosting!) and getting some summer activities on the calendar for July. I wanted to share this look for two reasons: these paperbag pants are one of my favorite things to wear, year-round! The style is surprisingly flattering—even if your stomach isn’t pancake-flat. I wore them the other day with my go-to gladiator sandals by Loeffler Randall. These sandals are a bit of a splurge, but I prefer to invest in quality items I really like (and will take care of) than to buy cheaper stuff more often. These are by far the most comfortable gladiators I own, and they add just enough interest to any outfit. They’re nude-colored and not too in-your-face, but the stars give them a little more … star quality. 😉 I highly recommend grabbing a pair!
