What To Wear For Thanksgiving
Haaaay. How’s your week going? My mom was here on Tuesday night and we went to dinner at a cozy neighborhood restaurant, La Mesa (loved the queso!), then we had a floral consultation for our wedding the next morning. We’re slowlyyy slowlyyy making wedding progress! It still feels like an imaginary thing at this point, though. Even though I have my dress and we spent today talking about whether I’ll carry white or blush peonies down the aisle, actually living out the day still doesn’t feel real! Also not feeling real? Thanksgiving is 2 weeks away! Per usual, we have a variety of gatherings to hit up with different family members, so I need a few outfits to get me through the holiday weekend. I always like to dress up a little bit, while still feeling comfortable and effortless. Here are a few options I’m loving!
What are your Thanksgiving plans?
casual-chic skirts
look 1: Dot Sweater + Crinkle Maxi Skirt (love the drama!) | look 2: Graphic Tee + Sweater Tube Skirt (add this scarf in Smoky Wisteria or a long cardigan like the one in Tuesday’s post for extra warmth) | look 3: Graphic Sweatshirt + Silk Wrap Skirt (such a fun combo)
one-and-done dresses
Drapey Silky Dress (I don’t have enough dresses with sleeves, and this one is selling fast!) | Cinched Waist Chiffon Dress (I would also wear this to work or a date) | Turtleneck Sweater Dress (dress up or down—looks good with sneakers and flats)
party pants
look 1: Cashmere Crewneck Sweater + Wide-Leg Cropped Leopard Pants (love this pop of orange and the tie-waist!) | look 2: Velvet Puff Sleeve Top + Lace Pants (have wanted lace pants forevvvvver, and the velvet top doubles the texture and fun!) | look 3: V-neck Boyfriend Sweater + Silk Print Pants (obsessed with these pajama-style pants—why wear jeans when these exist?)
