Crochet Tote for Summer — THE ACCESSORIST

I’m still at the lake, but heading home later today. I hope you had a great 4th of July! I plan to post a little recap from mine later this week, but in the meantime, I had to share the new summer tote I snagged recently. A couple weeks ago I went to a friend’s house for a backyard happy hour (and got to meet two of the new babies born that spring!). I wanted to bring just a couple of canned cocktails, a couple of cards (not my over-stuffed wallet with everything from my health insurance to my vaccination card), and sunglasses. Between my work tote, my everyday bag, my crossbodys, clutches, beach bag, and belt bags, I realized I didn’t have a bag that worked for that and promptly ordered this cute one online (while temporarily using a Trader Joe’s grocery bag for the happy hour that night). It’s just big enough for the aforementioned essentials and comes in a right-now crochet-rope weave—the perfect seasonal addition to my collection (and much cuter than a Trader Joe’s bag).
