Fall Decor Favorites
Happy Monday!
I had the most relaxing weekend catching up after being away over LDW. I did three loads of laundry, went for some crisp walks (loving the cooler temps!), washed and blow-dried my hair (!), watched the IOWA and Vikings games, Chris and I rented Nope, Jordan Peele’s new movie, and I added a few fall decor touches to the house which I’m very excited about. I haven’t done much seasonal decorating since being in this house because I’ve been focused on basic/everyday decorating, but I decided this year it was time! And just a few items go a long way … which is good because I don’t have a ton of excess space for decor and knick knacks and don’t want the house to feel cluttered. I picked up a couple pumpkin candles, seasonal hand soaps, pumpkin dish towels, some vase filler, and a few flameless candles for cozy ambience. I’ve never tried flameless candles (thinking they might look cheesy and I like a real flame/scent), but my mom had a few flickering throughout her house when we visited last weekend and I loved the look! You can set them on timers, too, which I’ll love as it gets darker this winter. I’m more excited than usual about fall this year and these little touches really make every day feel a little more festive ✨ Hope you have a good week!
