Down With Button-Downs
Guyssss … is there any better feeling than being on the verge of a long weekend?! Yay!
We’ll probably head to the lake for a day or two (looks like sweatshirt weather!) and do some work on the ol’ upstairs. I’m also hoping to get a pedicure (time to swap out my white polish), plant some mums (thinking purple will be pretty with our green house), and possibly make some pumpkin bread. 🤗

As we head toward fall and transition out of super-hot temps, I’ve been gravitating toward button-downs—like this one I wore to work this week! First, a confession: I was hardcore ANTI-button-down until this guy ☝️ (which is sadly sold out)! They were all so restricting and stiff—in more ways than one. But I’ve found some options recently that have a relaxed/oversized fit, fun details (like embroidery or paint splatter), and just an overall cool-girl vibe—that have me changing my mind. They’re perfect for transitional weather when you want more than a sleeveless blouse, but a sweater would still be a little aggressive.
