Booting Up
Happy October! It’s a gloomy day here in Minneapolis, but we’ve had some amazing fall weather so far this month which is a real treat. 😉🍫 I’ve been getting into the Halloween spirit by adding a little bit of seasonal decor to the house, and Chris and I started watching the newest season of American Horror Story. It’s about blood suckers, and I have to admit: it’s a little hard to watch—but a good pick if you’re in the mood for something scary. Chris has been busy continuing to work on the upstairs construction project (we passed the first electrical inspection today!), and I’ve been on cleaning/lawn duty … I mowed for the first time (ha), and the leaves will be falling soon which means lots of raking in my future.🍂
Scroll for a recent OOTD and have an amazing weekend!
Outfit details: Busting out my boots for the first time this season! Everything I’m wearing is old, but I’m linking similar styles in my LTK shop. This sweatshirt is a vintage find from Urban Outfitters and it’s my FAVORITE. It’s so soft, and usually what I wear while lounging at night, but it was fun to pair with a pencil skirt to give this work look a more relaxed vibe. Have you transitioned into fall footwear yet?
More Boots On My Radar
Hikers for running around on the weekends and day trips! I’m eyeing these, these and these.
Flat lug-sole boots for work and weekend (so hot right now). Currently debating this Chelsea style and this lace-up pair.
All the Western boots! I”m obsessed with these (in Neutral and Peach) and loving the more traditional look of these—both great for work and dressier looks. This tall pair is also calling my name. So fun!
Weather-ready boots for rainy/damp days. I prefer the short shaft on this iconic style—an easier fit if you have wider calves.
