A Few Baskets I Have My Eye On
Well, we got 61 trick-or-treaters before we ran out of treats! Someone at work said she and her husband always record the number so they know how many Snickers and Skittles to buy the next year, so Chris counted kiddos while I handed out candy and it made for a fun little game as the night progressed.
With Halloween over, I’m officially in pre-holiday nesting mode! We have lots of time inside ahead—dinner parties, movie nights, CHRISTMAS—and there are a few things I want to buy to make our home feel cozy and complete for it all, including some stylish storage options. These pretty woven baskets are the ultimate multitaskers: the best for holding plants and trees, books and magazines, blankets and towels, firewood or faux birch logs if you’re into that (I am) and toys if you have little ones. In addition to being functional, they add great texture to a room—perfect beside a couch or tucked underneath an entryway console table. I’m kind of in love with this one and the fiddle leaf tree I saw at Menards a few weeks ago would look so cute in this! Might have to swing by there this weekend! Hope you have a good one!
